AmeriGas prices

If you have not found out by now your new price per gallon for AmeriGas will be $3.09 per gallon, as long as you are on the AmeriGuard protection plan, if not then it will be $4.19 per gallon. I did find out a few thing that may aide you in trying to lower the price:

1. It can be $2.74 per gallon if you buy up front for a fill up. That of course can be a lot of money.

2. If you have a business in town that uses AmeriGas and live in Locust Hill you can receive a major discount for your home gas. I cannot say how much but when I ask for that price I was told by the customer service rep. that she had to get approval from the manager to give that to me. So it was less then $2.74 per gallon.

3. See if they will just lower your price because you threaten to leave.

However, the best advise I can give you is to just see if you can shop around for another company.
